Anonymous asked: That post about the girls at the gym makes me so mad. If someone overweight is at the gym they should be encouraged not made fun of! Thanks for posting. And you're beautiful! Great work :)

I agree, it’s unacceptable to attack somebody like this in an environment where they come to learn about all the great things their body can do. I always thought there was a certain “gym code” and this post made me so sad because really, everyone at the gym is trying to do more or less the same thing, no matter where they are on their journey to health/fitness/confidence.

Thanks for your compliment! :)

As I’m working my ass off at the gym tonight, I glance in the mirror and see these two wonderful ladies pointing and laughing at me. I turn down my headphones to hear: “fat people should have to work out at home were no one has to look at them.” So, my lovely fitblr community, can we please spread this around? Shitty people like this should have to work out at home where no one has to hear them! Ozark Fitness South Springfield Missouri.

What is wrong with people?! We are ALL trying to better ourselves when we work out, regardless of size. Fuck intolerance.

A Kenyan elite runner passes water to a dehydrated disabled Chinese runner who was suffering. This slowed her time—she came in 2nd in the race—not only costing her the win but also the $10,000 cash prize. It’s not all about winning.
This is what I love about runners.

Aaand now I’m crying.
Every day…

Anonymous asked: I'm doing a 5K sponsored run today to celebrate my mum beating cancer, i'm so nervous i'm not going to finish it, wish me luck?

Good luck, awesome anon! This is such a fantastic thing to do, your Mum must be so proud! Don’t be nervous - you’re a winner even if you don’t finish (but you will).

Okay, I need this.
